How long does a typical implementation project with PartsCloud take?
Thanks to the existing IT connection to the 3PL partner, PartsCloud can shorten the implementation time by up to 70% down to three months, depending on the given conditions. Depending on the size of the spare parts store and the quality of the customer's master data, the duration of the move and the preparatory master data cleansing can take several weeks.
What does an implementation with PartsCloud cost in total?
The costs for implementation of course depend heavily on the circumstances. In a joint discovery workshop, we will work with you to define the optimal implementation scenario for your company and prepare a binding offer for you. Experience shows that, due to the standardized processes and IT integrations, an implementation with PartsCloud is on average around 50% cheaper than a classic outsourcing project.
What do I have to pay for the PartsCloud software?
You conclude a Logistics-as-a-Service contract ("LaaS contract") with PartsCloud as your contractual partner. Accordingly, you pay a monthly or annual fee for the provision of our digitized logistics service. The amount of the fee depends on the number of logistics transactions processed (number of incoming goods, shipments, returns, etc.).
Can I send complex products such as assemblies, sets or kits with PartsCloud?
Yes, complex products such as assemblies, sets or kids can be handled with PartsCloud. Please let us know in good time what requirements your customers have so that we can give you the best possible advice on setting up the right solution.
As a customer, I would like to have a say in the selection of my preferred external service providers (e.g. 3PL).
Of course, we will involve you intensively in the service partner selection process. The spare parts business is a highly complex, sensitive matter where nothing can go wrong. Choosing the right partner is therefore one of the most important milestones in an implementation. Here we advise you with our experience from many successful logistics projects, conduct several selection interviews and joint on-site visits and are guaranteed to find the right partner for your spare parts logistics.
Who is responsible for wrongly delivered goods or delays in delivery?
PartsCloud assumes liability for the services provided within the framework of the General German Forwarding Conditions (ADSP). In addition, we agree on individual service level agreements with our customers (e.g.> 99% delivery to the day), which we are financially responsible for ensuring that they are properly fulfilled.
